"By His Stripes"   Mixed Media - 2007

This painting was completed while on a missions trip to South Africa.  All media including the gold leafing was obtained in Johannesburg, evidenced by the use of animal prints.  The red is symbolic of the blood and green symbolizes the land.  These are also the colors of Africa.
