A huge canvas is encrusted with paint, with accents of blue, green, white and yellow set against a warm orange background. The massive expanse of rich colour overwhelms the viewer. The spontaneous and gestural brushstrokes and the emotive value of colour, owes much to Abstract Expressionism.
